I'm heartbroken to say that late last week I lost one of my heroes - Binga the tortie from the SparkleCat blog. She was nearly 19 and we knew goodbye was near, but that doesn't make it any easier.
To say Binga was the Queen of Tortitude would be an understatement. I have a feeling the phrase itself was invented because of Binga! She was strikingly beautiful, feisty, a master photobomber, a true character in every way.
I think the best way I can pay tribute to her is by sharing her wit and wisdom with a list of some of my favorite posts she starred in. You'll notice many are tortie tutorials and eager student that I am, I took her lessons to heart. Tortie World Domination is bound to happen one of these days, and Binga pioneered the movement!
Binga - we love you, we miss you, we'll never forget you.

What a purrfect memorial post for Binga. Thank you so much for sharing this list of posts starring her. She had so much wisdom and beauty to share. And she always will. Our purrs and prayers are with Binga's family.
She was a hero of mine for sure and Pop loved her since she had my 'tude. You, my dear MP, are going to have to start showing some of that 'tude too. Binga would never kiss up to her human. BINGA FOREVER!
I've had two torties over the years, both of whom were wonderful cats, if a little psychotic.
It is beyond appropriate that you would post a tribute to beautiful Binga. Who better than another gorgeous Tortie? I always loved when Binga made an appearance on the blog....she will be sorely missed. Our hearts are broken. Your blog post is beautiful, heartfelt, sensitive and purrfect...just like both of you! xoxo
