Halloween Through the Years #FlashbackFriday

Meows from Mudpie!

I was just thinking about how this is going to be my 5th Halloween with Mommy, and how much fun we always have together this time of year.

My first Halloween here in 2015 I met this freakish thing. As hard as I tried I could not kill it, but late last year something awesome happened. His batteries died and Mommy can't get the battery compartment open to replace them. Unable to make him work she didn't even pull him out this year!

This was Mommy's first video attempt on our blog which is why it's so dark, but we still think you'll enjoy it. We like to call it "Who Let Mudpie Out?" Did you ever think I could be so vicious?

In 2016 I participated in Tocktober with one of my Halloween scratcher houses from Target. Thankfully Mommy covered up my lady bits.

In 2017 Mommy brought home another creepy decoration that I was none too impressed with. He was even more skin and bones than I was when I got here, but he didn't stick around to let Mommy fatten him up like I did. We aren't exactly sure where he is right now...

And last year I got to be immortalized in some Boolatry art as a race car driver. Vroom, vroom...

If you're looking for some fun cat-related Halloween stories, we have those too! Mommy wrote all of these and we're quite proud of them...

Truffles' Halloween Tail Parts 1 and 2

A Home for Ichabod

This month has been rather chaotic here at our house so we're not exactly sure what we'll be doing for Halloween. We just finished decorating this week and only pulled out our favorite decorations since we got such a late start.

Do you have any fun Halloween plans, or a favorite memory from Halloweens past?

Ummm ... what? Sorry, I was too busy checking out Mudpie's tocks to absorb the rest of the post. ~Bear Cat
That first thing is freaky - we're glad you showed it who's boss, Mudpie!

The "Who Let Mudpie Out?" video cracked me up! It's like Mudpie felt the need to just mercy-kill the thing before it could inflict more damage.

You sure gave that creepy thing a whopping. Good job.

I see you didn't care much for the skeleton kitty though. You're a smart kitty.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥

Mudpie, is there no shame?!?
The Hubby and I had our first official date at a Halloween party, and the rest, as they say, is history! That was elebenty zillion years ago. We used to go out to dinner on Halloween, but we just stay in these days, and watch Jeopardy!...

I think you deaded that first toy. I'll bet YOU could pull the batteries out too. MOL! This year Aldi started selling their own Halloween haunted houses but the peeps rarely get there since their fruit and veggies are lacking, not to mention their chick-hen.

I'm so glad the batteries ran out on that noisy thing! I bet you are too, Mudpie.

Those are great tocks. I am late decorating too. And I still have to dress all the cats for a Halloween photo shoot.

I think that first toy would’ve freaked out my cats! You’re so brave (and vicious).

Mudpie, way to take on that talking beastie with the glowing red eyes! Mom got a late start to decorating for All Hallows Eve, too. I think you and I need to sit our mommas down and give them a piece of our mind for that. Tee hee hee.

How frightfully festive this post is! I absolutely adore the video of you taking down that freaky singing fella, Mudpie. Though, is it okay if we admit that he's kind of cute? Not nearly as cute as you, though, Mudpie.
