Nail Biting Championship #SundaySelfie

Meows from Mudpie!

We're recycling a preciously seen selfie this week, but it's in honor of a very special day at our house!

It's NASCAR's Championship Sunday and once again our guy Kevin Harvick is one of only 4 drivers eligible to win the big trophy. He's made it to the title race 5 times in the last 6 years: in 2014 he won the championship (before I moved in), in 2015 he finished 2nd, in 2017 and 2018 he ended up 3rd.

Mommy is super excited but so nervous she can hardly stand it. Me, I'll be hiding out until the race is over. Whichever way it goes I have a feeling things will get very, very loud. Send help. And cross all your fingers and paws that the 4 car wins the Cup!

    I was HOLDING MY BREATH come the end of your post. I HOPE your guy wins. I know you love NASCAR and your Kevin.

    We watched Ford -sw- Ferrari yesterday. It captured the intensity, tension and a dash of sadness in the lives of these great drivers.

    My sister always told me that I should follow Kevin Harvick because he was a cat person. I'm afraid I'm not a race fan though. Hope the race went well.

    Perhaps an extra set of kitty ears in the form of earmuffs would do well for you on race days, Mudpie? We looked it up and though it doesn't appear your guy won, we bet he gave it his all. Purrs!
