Meows from Mudpie!
It's a freebie week in the Mewsic Moves Me blog hop and we thought it might be fun to take a look at some Mardi Gras/New Orleans themed country songs.
Since every mewsic post must start with Conway - Mommy's law - she wanted me to show you her cool Mardi Gras doubloons that came out in 1994 to honor him.
Jambalaya is a classic Hank Williams Sr. song, this is Conway's version from a 1970 concert in Oslo, Norway.

Maudi Gras is hugely popular it seems by many but it really never did much for me, except anything relating to mewsic makes me happy and your song choices really put one in the pawty mood. Thanks for hitting the 4M dance floor this week, furriends. Have a boogietastic time!

What fun songs for Mardi Gras! I might stuff my face full of extra food tomorrow, but other than that I'm not much of a Mardi Gras person. You sure look stylish for Mardi Gras, Mudpie! I wish I could get some of my furbabies to agree to wear beads, but they all rejected that suggestion. Purrs!
