The theme of this week's Mewsic Moves Me blog hop is songs about flowers or gardens. Music aside, isn't this picture of Mudpie in a flower frame a masterpiece? I threw it together in 30 seconds and just love it to pieces!
I have to start with a Conway song I've featured before, but it's extra special to me because it's the song that made me fall in love with him 30 years ago. The first time I heard it I thought his voice was the most beautiful thing I'd ever heard, and that opinion never has nor never will change.
We hope you enjoyed our picks this week! Let us know if you have a favorite!
Gee, there are a lot of songs about flowers. Pretty nice since there are lots of flowers. WE like your flower frame Mudpie. It's almost as pretty as you! Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Great job here my friend. I can hardly believe Mr. Rodgers is gone. Such a nice man and great songs. Anyway, I don't think I ever heard Elvis' song. How pretty. I didn't know Conway Twitty's remade the tune The Rose. He did a great job. George Jones tune is new to me, but how so very pretty it is. Thanks for sharing and Happy Memorial Day to you and yours. Have a great fun day and thanks for sharing your wonderful picks for today! hugs
First off, did you know the volume control on your YT vids are muted? I'm noticing the mute feature turned on a lot lately. Is this something YT is doing? I was just curious. Elvis and Kenny different style and vocals but fabulous singers with their own unique styles. Thanks for joining me on the dance floor this week. Take care and be well, dear furriends! xx
Believe it or not, I don't think I have heard any of these songs before. I will have to take a listen. I'm a fan of country music. :) -Purrs from your friends at www.PlayfulKitty.net
Nice flower frame, and if I had to pick - for lyrics, Kenny Rogers and for singing, Elvis's tribute to his mother. Quite familiar with The Rose, but the version I knew was the Bette Midler original. Alana rambinwitham.blogspot.com

As great as these songs are, we vote for your flowery art as our favorite part of this post! The art is very Mother's Day-ish!
