This month instead of choosing one song for each year I had to choose 3 songs from 1985 because I love them all so much and just couldn't choose a favorite. That I said, I couldn't find a song I was crazy about from 1980 or 1975 so we still have 5 songs in our playlist...
35 Years Ago - 1985, There's No Way, Alabama
35 Years Ago - 1985, Radio Heart, Charly McClain
35 Years Ago - 1985, Somebody Should Leave, Reba
50 Years Ago - 1970, My Woman, My Woman, My Wife, Marty Robbins
55 Years Ago - 1965, Girl On the Billboard, Del Reeves

Pawsome choices Mudpie!
Very nice songs. Thanks for sharing them.
Those were goodies sweet Mudpie!
M&M,
I think I'd have to go with Alabama 'There's No Way' among these choices. Many of their songs have a soft rock vibe than country and every time I hear them I'm reminded of an ex-co-worker. :) Have a boogietastic week, my furriends!
Nice playlist
Great idea for a theme!
Your theme is of great choice and you've totally brought down the house I must say. Love Alabama personally and Reba us the bomb I think personally and My Woman, My Woman, My Wife always makes me cry. Awesome pickins' my friend. You've rocked the house! Have a great week and stay healthy.
Some of these are new to me, but I like Reba.
Mom doesn’t listen to country and so she didn’t know any of those songs. Looks as if you were enjoying the music, Mudpie. Super photo of you. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Great choices! There are so many great songs. I used to really enjoy Alabama when I was younger. I haven't heard them in a long time. Thanks for the great memory!

Fantastic song choices, Mudpie and Melissa! We're over here dancing to the tunes. Purrs!
Interesting juxaposition of Reba's song about a couple who fell out of love and Marty Robbins' love ballard to his wife. Marty, by a mile! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
