Best of Mudpie 4: The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

5 years ago tomorrow I saw Mudpie on Petfinder and she completely stole my heart.
Who wouldn't melt at the sight of that precious little face?


The first time ever I saw your face
I thought the sun rose in your eyes


And the moon and the stars were the gifts you gave
To the dark and the endless skies


Even though I was still shattered from losing Truffles I followed my heart and brought her home 10 days later.
She's been my guiding light ever since.

    I remember seeing Mudpie’s beautiful face for the first time. She is special!
    I remember seeing my Hope for the first time. It was, also, love at first sight.
