2. I can't understand the big deal about fireworks.
3. I'm grateful I have the freedom to speak my mind, even though everyone is so hyper-sensitive right now I end up keeping my mouth shut to avoid drama. I bite my tongue so frequently it's a miracle I still have one!
4. Pets make a house a home.

We are facing some big changes...the whole world is needs to change.
It's scary, and some people would rather go to war against change, rather than live and learn, and accept the change.

You look purrfectly patriotic, Mudpie! As a kid I enjoyed fireworks. As an adult, I've grown to kind of dislike them. It breaks my heart to think of wildlife and other animals being terrified of these booms and flashing lights going off everywhere. Since the professional fireworks in our town were canceled this year due to the COVID-19, a bunch of people are just illegally setting them off in their yards. Last night, the house behind mine was setting them off and they were arcing over my house, where there are lots of dry trees right now. I'm terrified to think of all the fireworks going off in our neighborhood tonight, on the actual 4th of July. Wishing you all a happy, safe, and relaxing holiday!
