Meows from Mudpie!
You'll never believe what Mommy said when I showed her the super cool kaleidoscope I made. She said it looked kind of...creepy! That it makes her think of a really furry tarantula with lots and lots and lots of eyes!
I'm horrified that such a thing was said by my very own Mommy who professes to worship the ground my little paws stand on! Look at the perfect shape in the middle made from my little brown chin and the diamond on my chest, my cute as a button nose, my eyes...all those eyes.
Holy cow, she's right...it is kind of creepy the more I look at it! What do you think?

2. It was a relief to finally get my drivers license. I was 30 when I took the plunge and I was more terrified than I had ever been in my life.
3. Passing my driving test on my first try made me feel proud of myself. I remember I had trouble with the emergency brake and my instructor took a couple points off for that, and he said I didn't signal properly at one turn (I didn't believe he was correct on that), but I passed!
4. Seeing a needle inserted into the crook of someone's arm grosses me out. Anywhere else doesn't bother me, but for that I have to turn away.
Mudpie, maybe your human shouldn't read this since she is already creeped out, but you look kind of like a spider, with all those eyes, in this art!
ReplyDeleteIt’s cute in the middle, but all those eyes..yikes!
ReplyDeleteSorry, we have to agree with your Mom. It's pretty creepy!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Yes, very spidery!
ReplyDeleteDriving is no problem for me, but being a passenger is what makes me nervous.
That is a little Spooky, Mudpie, but it's an interesting effect too!
ReplyDeleteYou look spooky cool sweet Mudpie! Those were good and interesting answers too!
ReplyDeleteThat is a little creepy. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you got your license. I got mine at 16 and a half, but only because my mom insisted. It is good to not have to depend on anyone for a ride. I have 2 aunts that never learned and now they are so dependent on others. Have a nice weekend. XO
ReplyDeleteMudpie when we looked at your art we thought 'owl' at first! It is a very interesting one you did this week! We love your creativity!
ReplyDeleteYou are very beautiful but my Mum agrees that the art looks creepy and spidery!
ReplyDeleteGreat fill ins and we have tried that effect but you do it well. Not creepy at all, rather cute
ReplyDeleteI have to agree that you do look like a big furry spider! All those eyes made me think of "The Night has a Thousand Eyes" by Bobby Vee.
ReplyDeleteAll those eyes, Mudpie! It is a little creepy. ;)
ReplyDeleteI see a clock of owl eyes staring at me.
ReplyDeleteAs I told Menagerie Mom Lorianne, TW says after 8 months she still can't look when they do finger sticks, blood tests or i/v's but she's always more grossed out by the i'v's in her hand and wrist then in her elbow. She goes through it every week. This week she'll get a break—she thinks.
PS: thanks for not making this art into a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteWell, in this artwork, you do kind of look like a spider, Mudpie. But your eyes are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI suppose, now you come to mention it, you do look a bit spidery. To tell the truth, though, if it weren't for all those beautiful eyes, the first thing that would have come to mind would have been - A BAT!
ReplyDeleteNow, that's REALLY creepy (mol)...
