The Cat Song #MewsicMovesMe

Meows from Mudpie!

Remember how last week I lamented the lack of cat songs in country music? A friend reminded Mommy of this little gem and we think it deserves a post all its own because it is SO accurate.

Doesn't everyone use baby talk with their kitties? Doesn't everyone speak with more affection to the furry members of their family than their significant other? And what exactly is wrong with that? MOL

LOVE it! I can’t believe I never heard it. Ray Stevens songs are great. I love The Mississippi Squirrel Revival, too.

Ray Stevens is someone I'd love to see in concert. He has a show that airs on our local channel out of Nashville. Maybe, we can go see him sometime. That would be fun. :) Thanks for sharing The Cat Song. Have a boogietastic week, furriends!

You should hear The Boy talking to Ellie! He sounds ridiculous baby-talking her. Then again, he thinks I sound ridiculous talking to her too.
