And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

Mudpie's answers:

1. Something I lost and was never able to find was my catnip turtle. It was one of my very first stuffies and I bopped it all over the house. I lost it once and Mommy ended up finding it at the foot of the basement stairs. I lost it a second time and it remains missing, many years later.

2. When I take a nap, I want to have something warm and soft piled up underneath me. The other night a small pile of socks and handkerchiefs fell on the floor, and before Mommy knew it I was curled up on top of them.

Mommy's answers:

3. Cold weather doesn't bother me. As I like to say, you can always put more clothes on, but no matter how much you take off you're still going to sweat.

4. I don't handle stupidity behind the wheel very well. I do plenty of muttering at other drivers.

  1. We love the variety of art work types available these days. Your pencil sketch/charcoal effect is a delight and captures we think, another aspect of your persona.

  2. Your artwork is lovely, Mudpie. I prefer cold weather to hot weather too. We rarely get above 70 in summer, but even that is too hot for me.

  7. That is a beautiful sketch of you Miss Mudpie, but you make a great subject.

Thank you for stopping by the blog this week and helping us remember our gentle giant, Mr. Jinx.

  8. Beautiful art. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am like you in preferring the cold. And I am so sick of seeing people driving with their phones. Miss Mudpie, I hope you find that turtle someday. XO

  10. I Don't do stupidity well either. I yell at other drivers like & I yell at all of the stupid people on tv. Not that it does any good.

  13. We love your sketchy pawtrait! And we also LOVE the fill-ins! And #3, Mom does not mind the cold, unless her feet get cold. Then the rest of her takes forever to warm up!

  14. Cool sketch! I have a nip turtle that I've never looked at. If TW can find it, I'll send it to you but don't expect it soon.

  15. We love that sketch, Mudpie.
We aren't so sure about the cold weather however. We, ourselves, are not too keen on it.

  16. Mudpie, you and your masterpiece are true classic beauties! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Mudpie, the kitties here also have some favorite toys that are MIA. We're pretty sure the gap beneath the heavy china cabinet is eating them. We hope your catnip turtle comes back to you someday! And I really relate to your answer about stupidity behind the wheel. I sometimes have lengthy one-sided conversations with other drivers, which are often rated anything but PG. Purrs!
