I want to thank you, Mudpie and Melissa, for your extremely thoughtful words on our blog on the loss of our sweet old Tortie, and I'm sorry her passing made you cry. I'm not ashamed to say we still break down here and there, and I only just now saw and shared your July 1 post with Cleo's mom. It brought on the brief waterworks yet again. Will they ever stop? I'm slogging my way through everyone's comments as I wanted to thank as many as I could individually, and I also just read your sweet post about Tara and Truffles. So much catching up to do, so much gratitude to share- I'm afraid I won't be able to make good to all. Thank you, Mudpie, many times over for being a "matching" blog furriend to our sweet old girl, and thank you, Melissa, for the years of commenting kindness.
ReplyDeleteLovely Mudpie! Great fill-ins, Melissa.
ReplyDeleteMudpie, our neighbor is a pet sitter. She is retired and this is her way of having many many pets at a time and adding to her income. Does cats and dogs all around our community. So if your mom does jump in with all 4 of her paws, do not be jealous. Kitties get the quiet time and us moms get the worry and busy time. Have a wonderful weekend together. Lynn and Precious
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art, Mudpie. Spring and autumn are my favourite seasons. We don't get the extreme heat that you do, usually not above 70 but it is still too hot for me.
ReplyDeleteGood answers to the fill-ins!
ReplyDeleteI really like the arty pic!!!!
Purrs, Julie
Nice art of beautiful Mudpie! Good answers too! Happy Caturday.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have one book of those lovely stamps please ... thank you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art. That is a stamp I would buy a sheet of. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry you are worried and have no free time. I can't wait until fall either. XO
ReplyDeleteOh my that is some stunning artwork this week Mudpie!
ReplyDeleteStunning art!
ReplyDeleteThat's great art, Mudpie. You certainly are deserving of having your beautiful face on a postage stamp.
ReplyDeleteWow, Mudpie. You make the prettiest stamp ever!
ReplyDeleteMudpie, you are absolute purrfection! And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins. I can relate to all of your answers this week, though I can relate to your answers pretty much every week. I used to do lots of pet-sitting back when I was in school, all the way through college. I ultimately had to stop when I started working full-time, but I really, truly miss pet-sitting. I often wonder what would have happened if I had done more to pursue becoming a full-time pet-sitter. Purrs!
