The kitty behind me is our friend Mo (named because he looks so much like Morris, but he's also a Puss in Boots clone). He's extremely skittish and even though Mommy has been giving him snacks for years, he's never allowed her to touch him.
Strangely enough, even though I don't care for other cats, his presence has never bothered me. In fact, sometimes we share a snack from opposite sides of the door!
When Mommy snapped this picture last week she thought it was super funny that I didn't seem to realize he was peeping in the door behind me. Good thing I was decent (although I'm fairly certain he's only interested in food and not me!)
Boys, they always think of their tummys first then run off without tipping the waitress, MOL! :)

Mudpie, we have a boy here that stops by named Blackie to get into the catnip out front. Sometimes he likes to show off and beat on the front door which simply scares Precious. However she hisses right back at him through the safety of the glass door. He's not as friendly as your Mo.
ReplyDeleteMo is mighty cute :)
ReplyDeleteSmart too as he knows where to go to get good treats ;)
MOL!
Purrs, Julie
Mo seems to be quite the gentleman, Mudpie…waiting patiently and not disturbing your nap.
ReplyDeleteI see him there, Mudpie! Nice that your mom gives him treats. Maybe one day he'll let her pet him. ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw just the title of this post, Mudpie, I honestly expected another photobomb from the one and only Conway. Mo is so much cuter, though! We're glad he knows he can safely enjoy a snack from your wonderful mom. And we're glad his presence doesn't bother you, Mudpie. Our friendly neighbor cat comes over all the time for snacks. All the kitties in the house are used to him, and they often spend time with him when he's hanging out on the other side of the door. Purrs!
ReplyDeleteI see him there! He's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteHe is a cute kitty. And so are you. :)
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a nice guy.
ReplyDeleteMo is very cute! Before I was adopted and became a brother to Ivan he had an Orange Bro name Mo, I hear he was very special too. Hey, we were reading each others blogs at the same time.
ReplyDeleteIt;s great that you and Mo don;t give each other hiisies ! Sharing treats is a good thing !
ReplyDeleteWell, it's always a little dicy when two cats meet, especially if it seems that the one outside is looking to assail your domain. Kitties are very territorial (emphasis on terror).
ReplyDeleteHowever, I think treats are best shared. It's the first step to making friends.
I have an outside friend too! My human doesn't really care about touching him, even though he is cute. She is more interested in the fact that he loves to watch me do videos and wear dresses. She can't imagine what he is thinking! MOL
ReplyDeleteThat is cool! We have furrends that come on our back deck. We actually play with Lucifer and Benny and Merle. Mom has not taken any photos of them though. Thanks for coming to my Birthday pawty and for taking a photo in the photo booth! You and your Peeps are AWESOME! Purrs Marv
ReplyDeleteI'd love to give you both some ear scratches!
ReplyDeleteHey, Mudpie, maybe a little nip in the "stolen" food would cool this dude out, haha. He's probably using it as a pretence to be closer to YOU.
