Every morning when Mommy goes out to feed the birds, squirrels, and neighbor kitty, I'm waiting for her when she returns so she can hold the door open for me for a few minutes.
That's when this selfie was taken, and it's obvious from the loose furs showing that she hadn't taken time to "do my hair" yet! (During the hot, humid weather she brushes me 3-4 times a day!)

My furs are sprinkling all over the house too. Lynn keeps me brushed every evening at 5:00 p.m. on my demand. But it only helps a little bit. I like to lay at the door too and watch Lynn carry buckets and buckets of water to her flowers and the bird baths. Precious

I LOVE how you said that Mudpie. Your mommy does YOUR hair and my mommy does mine. Both of us are lovely ladycats and like our well groomed look on Sunday Selfie.
I know that shedding is something we cope with in summer. I am not surprised Mum keeps you brushed - you are a gorgeous tortie after all.

Yes, better to shed outside than inside the shed. MOL! Seriously you look good no matter what. Maybe you could help your Mom to collect all that disconnected fur and she could spin into cat wool and make a Mudpie cat wool toy!

Mudpie, this is a stunning photo of you. Lisbeth and Cooper Murphy love to be brushed, which is good as they are the worst shedders. Sawyer hates it, but either his dad or I try to get in four or five swipes a day, as his fur matts right at the roots. We really appreciate you being a regular hopper.Have a great week.
