Since I'm always on the hunt for anything tortie-related I decided to make a holiday gift guide exclusively for tortie lovers an annual tradition to help make your shopping a little easier. These are also clever. I guess it's so easy for everyone to paint a white cat or a black cat and they never think about all the other color kitties that we have in this world. The only reason my husband ever came to like cats was because his cousin had a tortoise shell down on the farm that was the sweetest thing there ever was. Then when we got married he realized how badly I needed a cat as my last one had died slightly before. But I've never owned a tortoise shell I just admire them.

Nice. I think Mudpie's comment on the shortage of colorful cat gifts, two years ago, was what prompted me to post a small Tortie & Calico Collection on Zazzle. What would really improve the collection, of course, would be yourall's best pictures of YOUR colorful cats. You can "customize" my designs by substituting your own cat images, or send me (fairly high resolution) cat images to add to the collection. (I'm PriscillaKing2020 at outlook, PriscillaKnits at Zazzle; if you send pictures, please indicate whether you want them publicized or shown only to you as they appear on Zazzle.)

I just popped over to check and realized there are actually two collections, Multicolor Cat Face and Tortie Face...For those not familiar with Zazzle, it's a digital printing service that will put almost any picture on almost any popular gift item. You can order prints as you would from any shop, or market your prints online at a virtual store in the Zazzle Marketplace. In theory Zazzle builds community by allowing people to add others' designs to their Collections and by paying *higher* royalty fees if your link sells someone else's design. It costs nothing to join.
Full disclosure: I get no reward if any of you join Zazzle, but if you use a referral link I'd be delighted to send you, and if you then sell a lot of your products, in theory I'd get a bonus. But only if you succeed in marketing your pet as the next Grumpy Cat. I'm posting these comments just in case they help anyone choose a pet souvenir as a gift.
