And now our weekly answers (all answered by Mommy this week) for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. An item discontinued that I want brought back is Pro Plan's lamb flavored treats. They were Mudpie's favorites. I noticed yesterday at PetSmart that Pro Plan now has lamb flavored dry food, but I don't want to spend nearly $20 for a 3 pound bag if I don't know for sure. Why don't pet food companies offer sample sizes???

2. I would sleep in until noon every day if I could.

3. It’s almost time for ???, and I can’t wait. The holidays are always what I look forward to most, and now with mom gone, will likely never feel quite the same ever again.

4. The '80s were the good old days. The years when I was a carefree little girl, not to mention the fact that the world seemed more normal.

  1. That is really beautiful and very atmospheric art, Mudpie.

  2. It looked to me as if Mudpie has her picture hanging inside of an old Italian villa. I do hope when Easter rolls round that you will be able to feel in a good place to be able to decorate and celebrate that holiday in your mother's memory.

  3. That is a pawsome picture of you Mudpie!!
The effect is very cool too!
    Good answers to the fill-ins.
Yes, adjusting to a new normal will take time. Be kind to yourself.

  5. Nice artwork!! We like the butterfly on your nose.

Raz is on Z/D which is $70 for 8.5lbs! Since dry food has always been free feed here, Noelle eats it too which makes it super expensive.

  7. Mudpie, I wish I had an actual picture like that of Admiral. Both girls are so stunning.

  8. Here's a tip. I have had great luck at Petsmart asking if they have sample sizes--they often keep them in the back but give them out if you ask! Or you can sometimes even write the food company. Hope you're doing ok!

  9. Beautiful art Miss Mudpie. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins. I can understand #3, especially right now so soon after losing your beloved mom. I also wish there was a way to get food samples for cats. At least with 13 cats I know someone will eat it though. XO

  10. TW hears you on 2 and 4. She had a blast during the 80s; touring and see bands almost every night. She misses those days soooo much. She sleeps past 11 every morning since she's been sick.
I wonder if you could write Pro Plan and ax for a sample bag. Don't you miss being able to get these items to review for Chewy?
    Your art is lovely.

  12. We love your Art Mudpie! And your Mom's fill ins are reely good too. We are sorry she feels bad missing her Mom for the holidays. Change is hard and missing loved ones is very sad. Try to imagine her being there looking on and smiling as the day goes on. X0
