On the Road Again

Meows from Mudpie!

Yesterday I had to go back to the vet for my second (and hopefully final) dose of ear medication. I told Mommy I've been feeling so much better that it wasn't necessary, but she wouldn't listen to me.

I'm proud to say Mommy told me I'm the bestest kitty she's ever had in the car or at the vet. On the ride there I barely made a peep this time. I didn't soil myself in any way. In the exam room I waited patiently for the vet tech to come in. Mommy helped hold me while the tech applied the medicine. I was told I had a beautiful coat and colors. In 5 minutes we were in and out.

Since the visit was so fast and I was being so good, Mommy decided to stop at the bank. She didn't want to leave me alone in the car while she went inside so we used the drive thru! I took the opportunity to ask the teller about opening a squeezie account. He said something about needing ID, a Social Security Number, and a minimum opening deposit amount, none of which I had.

Oh well, I tried to find a way to support myself and it didn't work out. Guess I'll have to continue depending on Mommy.

  1. What a good girl, Mudpie! Kudos to you. You have made it easier for yourself, your Mommy and the vet by accepting what must be done. You can't miss even one dose of antibiotic, or the infection could come back. I'm proud of you pretty girl.

  2. Mudpie, we figure Maybe you were a little less scared because the trips were so close together. Sorry about the bank account, I really don't understand why they couldn't have opened one for you with a few pennies of their own.

  3. Purrs that will be the last Vet visit for a while and your ear gets better!
Too bad about the squeezie account though. Guess you will have to depend on your mum. She is pretty reliable :)

  5. Bank drive ups usually have dog biscuits and lollipops, they should have something for kitties too. XO

  13. I bet the vet had never seen a more gorgeous tortie (or any cat for that matter!). Yay for being done with medicine. You are way braver than Bear. The only time I didn't hear a peep from him was when his sisfur drowned him out!
