Tortie Tuesday: Snowflakes on Mudpie

Meows from Mudpie!

This picture was taken a week ago today, when we got a foot of heavy, wet snow. Yep, March 14th was our biggest snowstorm of the year. I had to stick my head out to take a better look when Mommy came back in from feeding the birds.

Talk about a bad case of dandruff!!!

Just seconds after this picture was taken, I decided to try sauntering right out the door, for the first time ever! The snow didn't feel so great on my paws. Mommy was stunned because I've never shown any interest in stepping outside. She had to fling her phone on the ground to grab me. I received a bit of a lecture too.

Maybe I sensed what was coming. Some of you may have seen on Mommy's personal Facebook page yesterday that I had an unexpected trip to the V-E-T. I'm fine. We'll tell you all about it later this week.

  1. Mudpie, please tell us that you are okay. Your mommy has so much going on she certainly does not need you to be sick. And certainly not stuck in the snow outside. I'm sure that snowfall was not at all enjoyed by the humans.

  2. Mudpie, that white stuff looks interesting but it is cold!!!
Outside is not always fun. There are big noisy things called cars.
You do not want to get near them! Indoors is safe, warm and it is where
    the food is,,,and your person!
Purrs your snow will not last! Ours is pretty mush gone.
Purrs you are OK after the Vet visit too!

  6. Dearest Mudpie, I'm glad yoo said yoo are fine. I have always loved yoor reports. How exciting to feel snow on yoor paws. I got to feel it once long ago at our old house when Daddy brought a bucket of snow inside the house. It was cold. And wet. And turned to water. Not a good thing inside a house. Just saying... Love, Dori

  10. Glad your mom got you back in so fast, Mudpie! Outside isn't safe for kitties and snow just makes everything complicated. Hoping all went well at the V-E-T.

  11. My mommy has had NIGHTMARES about me getting out. There is a forest behind me and I'd never be found.
