And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!
Mommy's answers:
1. Never underestimate Mudpie when she wants a squeezie. Lately if I take too long she starts swatting things onto the floor to get my attention. If she had to share with a sibling, she'd likely knock them over too!
2. Thunderstorms make me a nervous wreck. The heavy rain, wind, hail, lightning, threat of a power outage...I'm a basket case until it passes.

Mudpie's answers:
3. I need to get a job so that I can afford my squeezie habit. Mommy says the price has gone up AGAIN!
4. I didn't realize how wonderful a forever home would be until I got one. Mommy wishes she knew my circumstances before I ended up at the shelter - if I'd been out on the streets or turned in by a previous owner. I'm such a sweet, innocent little love bug, she can't imagine me homeless and trying to take care of myself, or how anyone could've ever given me up if I did have a home. The truth is, my life began the day she adopted me.

ReplyDeleteDad says he loves the minimal hues in your artified self, Miss Mudpie. Your mom's answer about storms make dad think of his youth, when he would hide in the innermost corner he could find in his growing-up home until the noises passed. Nowadays he loves the storms.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to see you were looking straight at the camera when your mom took the picture to start that artwork. No matter how bad your life was before you came to live with your mom, you and she are making up for it full time. That's the way it should be.
ReplyDeleteWe have been seeing a lot of lovely pets turned into shelters when their owners pass away or have to go into nursing homes, it's so sad. Storms don't bother us thank cat as we have a lot of them here.
