Meows from Mudpie!
Today we have some flashback video for your viewing pleasure!Mommy and I used to play footsie through the side door quite often, and on this particular day when she returned from cat-sitting she was able to shoot some footage of the game. She ended up capturing a first - I'd never tried to bite her through the door before!
Sadly we haven't been able to play this game lately because even though the back door is my favorite sunbathing spot during the summer, when Mommy goes outside she has to completely lock it because the screen door has a tendency to pop open. It's not a constant problem, but it's happened often enough that it makes Mommy nervous to leave me unattended.
She says she'll never forget the day she walked up the driveway after visiting her neighbor and saw the door partly open. She about had a nervous breakdown until she reached the house and saw me safely inside, peeking out. She was so proud of me, that I hadn't taken advantage of the situation to go on an adventure!

Boy do I know those moments of panic attack when you think your cat has gotten outside. It's nice that Precious can go out on the patio right now with the small fence around it but believe me I keep an eye on her.

As we live on a private road, I am allowed to go outside
to sample a bit of grass. Mum is always handy and still keeps an eye on me.

Dear Mudpie, Lynn let me watch this on the big screen. I feel sure if that finger would have been a mousie and the door open, you'd have got it fur sure. Precious
Bear says that looks like a fun game he would Like. He likes to pounce at me feet when I walk by the bed when he is hiding under it.

Mudpie, you are just the cutest! Tonks is my kitty who plays footsie through the screen door with me. Evan shouts at me through it, but only to tell me to come inside and cuddle him, which of course I always do. You're also such a purrfect, well-behaved little lady, Mudpie, for not taking advantage of an open door. I found our screen door ajar once and panicked until I did a head count and found all kitties present. Purrs!
That is a fun game and i'm proud of you for not running off as well.
