Meows from Mudpie!
As you can tell, the back door is my favorite place to hang out during the summer months. I spend so much of my time there that Mommy calls it my apartment.
The problem is, the back door is the main exit to the house, so every time Mommy and Grandpa have to go out, I have to move. (Well, Mommy can step over me, but if Grandpa tried that it wouldn't end well for either one of us.) If they're just doing something in the yard they leave the door open so I can go back to my spot, but if they're going somewhere they lock the door behind them and I have to wait patiently for them to return.
Now Mommy is cat-sitting for our neighbor for the next two weeks, so she'll be in and out even more than usual. And I'm sick and tired of moving!!!
Can't she hop out a window or something and leave me alone?

Mudpie, will you mind if your mommy comes home with the smell of other kitties on her ankles? We hope not.

We're all about sticking with routine, too, Mudpie. We hope yours gets back to normal soon enough.

Your Mama needs one of those doggy dog things she could pop in and out of so you wouldn't have to move sweet Mudpie!

A window sounds good as long as no one thinks she is a burglar MOL!

Maybe you need an attached basket on the door frame so you won't have to move at all!! MOL!
I know it may seem strange to cats, but humans will use doors when there are perfectly good windows to climb in and out of.
