She was so young, we were going to have so much time together...but that wasn't meant to be.
Would I have brought her home that day if I'd known the heartbreak to follow? Without a doubt. In our short two years together she left me with memories that will last a lifetime.

Two fine years, a lot of love and fine memories. Yes, sometimes out time in this particular life is short. But it is a life, and we live and share it with those beside us in the hope we enrich them and others, in so doing.

The poem moved me so much. It is so very true. Yes you did not have a lifetime but what you had was happiness and total love. Truffles loss was sudden and shattering and we feel your sadness.
