Meows from Mudpie!
Mommy has a good friend "across the pond" in the UK who collects Dolly Parton memorabilia. Since a lot of her stuff isn't released there, Mommy has been buying things for him and then ships big boxes of Dolly goodies to him. In exchange, he's been tracking down some rare Conway collectibles for her.
Over the weekend he decided he wanted the Dolly birthday items being sold at Walmart, so on Monday Mommy headed to Wally World to fulfill his wish list.
After she brought it home she spread it all out over the kitchen floor to send him a picture, and as I always do, I plopped down right in the middle of it. Whenever she wants to take a picture of something, I'm right there front and center. But when she specifically wants a picture of me, I'm uncooperative. It's a law in Mudpie-ville.
We're thankful for our collecting friends!!!

Mudpie, you being in the middle of it all simply made it that much more fun. After all your mommy's friend needs to know that even you come before Miss Dolly Parton.
You are just being a cat. I think it shows you approve of the items.
You were just making sure everything was purrfect, Mudpie!
Every picture needs a kitty in it, Mudpie. Thimble is like you and lives by that rule. We certainly won't complain about getting a glimpse of adorable you!
What fun your Mom and her friend have with the collections! I think you giving the Dolly stuff your personal attention was very considerate Mudpie.
What a treat for Mum's friend. I know odd things appear all over the world in the strangest corners so what a treat for you both to be able to share.
Humans can be rude, but we have thumbs. :)
That's a nice way for both of them to get some interesting goodies. You look cute there sweet Mudpie, just ignore the rude comments. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
You look adorable there Mudpie! That sounds like a fun exchange for your Mom and her friend!
This is a very unusual dynamic to say the least. On or around your birthday, you send gifts to your friend in the UK. Is it his or her birthday, too? Did you get that Twitty stuff from England? Too funny!
What a fun friendship! And of course, Mudpie, you wouldn't ruin anything!
