Meows from Mudpie!
I apologize if I look rather annoyed in my selfie this week.
November is the cloudiest month of the year in my neck of the woods (followed by December...sigh...) and last night on the news they said that so far 81% of November has been cloudy.
I haven't been able to sunbathe in weeks, and it's starting to depress me. Every morning Mommy opens the door for me so I can look out. I keep hoping to see some warm rays pouring in but it never happens.
I love the extra cuddle time with Mommy but I also seriously miss my summer days soaking up the sun and heat.
Mommy says it's obvious I was adopted. I wonder what she means by that?
What you need, Mudpie, is a sunlamp. A SAD lamp, to be precise, to warm away the drear days and give you vitamins and a tan, too. Helps for drear humans too, I'm told ;)

Mudpie, Precious has wondered where the clouds went from here. She has had some 4 days in a row this week, which is unheard of in November. She's waiting for the other Paul to drop and get back to regular nasty weather.
ReplyDeleteWe meant "paw"
DeleteI don't blame you for being grumpy. No sun makes for an unhappy cat!
ReplyDeleteUgh, that is some not-so-bright news, Mudpie. :(
ReplyDeleteMaybe Mommy can buy you a sunlamp?
Mudpie, our mom hates the gloomy days of fall and winter. She too gets depressed. prefers sunny days as well and feelsl fortunate that today we have sun. We much prefer them as well. Though, you do not look happy, we welcome your selfie and wish you sunshiny days. ReplyDeletei feel for you Mudpie. We have almost no sun in Nov either! The best substitute is a fireplace! The cats love it
ReplyDeleteThat is tough. I love some sunshine. I hope you get some sunbeams soon.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the lack of sunbeams. Beautiful selfie. XO
ReplyDeleteWe understand sweet Mudpie, we've been missing the sun too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a little sunpuddle soon.
ReplyDeleteI feel you, Mudpie. Oh dear, if that look doesn't say "Don't mess with Mudpie" I don't know what does!
ReplyDeleteWe know how you feel pretty Mudpie. Our human at times get frustrated as it is monsoon season over here and we get sudden electrical storms anytime.
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs to you!
Mudpie, you're welcome here anytime. Not because it's sunny, but because we're just as grumpy and put out over fall and winter.
ReplyDeleteThis is random ... but I wonder if cats respond to those special lights for seasonal affective disorder.
I hope you get some sunshine soon.
