Meows from Mudpie!
Over the weekend, in between hospital visits, Mommy treated herself to something fun - a visit to our area's annual Cat Fanciers' Association cat show.
She loved seeing all the beautiful show cats but said not one of them could hold a candle to me!
The highlight of the show for her was a caricature artist doing on-the-spot sketches of attendees' cats. The artist, Joe Ferris, only needed about 15 minutes to work his magic. Mommy had to wait quite awhile for her turn, but it was well worth the wait.
Didn't my drawing turn out pawsome??? Mommy just adores it.
Actually...grandpa wouldn't really mind if Mommy adopted another cat or two. I, on the other hand...

Mudpie, what a fun outing for your mommy. And look at that beautiful sketch that was done of you. Magnificent. I bet your grandpa might have felt good enough to laugh when your mommy said she was going to get three more cats. That would be a very good thing if he's feeling better.
Paws together for Grandpa ... indeed, more cats??? Mudpie and Mississippi maybe?
That drawing really captures you purrfectly, Mudpie! Continued purrs for your grandpa.
That came out great. I am glad you got a little fun in during this stressful time. XO
Tell mom it was well worth the wait. It's purrfect.
