Meows from Mudpie!
For quite awhile now my grandpa has preferred sleeping in his recliner at night instead of his bed, and since he came home from the hospital (again) on Tuesday, Mommy has been sleeping in the living room too to keep an eye on him.
Since she doesn't find our loveseat comfy enough to sleep on, she's made a makeshift bed for herself on the floor using pillows and blankies, and I, for one, am loving it!
I wonder where she's gonna sleep tonight because I've got dibs on this pile! MOL!!!

We certainly wish Grandpa a very very happy birthday, and at home where he belongs. I'd say your mommy is doing a great job of camping out without going camping outside, lol.

Oh, I slept with Dido on the floor, using sleeping bags and our small duvet (self made from leftover of a large one, when adding size to our European twin sized down duvets). But the next day your body feels like dented...

Whenever Bear had a dental or surgery, I'd make a bed of blankets on the floor so he wouldn't have to jump to be with me (I was worried he'd hurt himself). Mudpie, you can share with your Mommy, right?!

Sleeping on pillows on the floor is not easy. Maybe his chair needs to be moved into a bedroom.
Sleepovers are so much fun, aren't they, Mudpie? And we're thinking you're probably happy to share those blankies with your mom, since it is indeed prime cuddling season. Happy (belated) Birthday to your grandpa!
