Meows from Mudpie!
Mommy helped me snap these selfies yesterday just before leaving for hours and hours to take grandpa to the hospital again. (For the second time in a week. They spent New Year's Day there too.) He had to be admitted this time and needs lots of purrs and prayers.
Of course we're also getting our first snowstorm of the season this weekend and as much as Mommy loves the snow, she hates driving in it. Hopefully the snow means she can stay home with me and keep in touch with the hospital by phone.
2024 isn't looking to be any better in our house than 2023 was :(

That is a nice selfie, especially in the circumstances. So sorry to hear about your Grandpa. Hospitals aren't the nicest of places to be in or visit, but they sure are good for urgent care. Paws crossed, all goes well at the hospital, and the snow vanishes.

Mudpie, we are glad you were able to tell us about your grandpa. We have prayers and prayers for him. And of course for your mommy while she's driving. You're beautiful pictures tell it all when we look at your sweet face. You are very worried.

Oh Mudpie, lots of hugs to you and your mom! Our human feels for your mom taking care of grandpa. It is not easy and exhausting as our human went through it too taking care of her mom with a broken leg (who passed away in 2022 at age 100). Our human (septuagenarian) is now very slowly picking up pieces in life.
