Meows from Mudpie!
Good news! My grandpa will be coming home from rehab on Thursday! (Now could someone kindly remind him that cats belong on the floor, not grandpas, so we don't have to go through this again?)
Today I'm reluctantly sharing a guest selfie. This is Rosebud. She belongs to the daughter of another rehab patient, and she gets to visit her grandpa there every day!
Needless to say, everyone at the rehab facility has fallen in love with Rosebud, most notably, Mommy, and the feeling is mutual! Rosebud adores Mommy, and even flops down in front of her for - gasp - tummy rubs!!!
Yep, there's a serious love affair going on behind my back and Mommy is giving tummy rubs to a DOG!!!
I guess she is kinda cute, and Mommy says she's as sweet as can be. She's a brindle pittie mix, so her coloring is very similar to my tortie colors.
Mommy and Rosebud sure are going to miss each other when grandpa comes home, but Mommy belongs to ME!!!

Awww, she sure looks like a cute pup. And how lovely she visits and cheers all the folks in rehab. Sharing with such a darling really isn't so bad, I guess—just so long as she doesn't move in, right?

YES, do not forget that, mommie. YOUR KITTY BELONGS to...uh...YOU BELONG TO YOUR KITTY!!! Not that cutie mix, for he is very very cute.
Mudpie we really don't think you have any serious competition in the love category. But it is kind of fun that your grandpa had a bit of Fur Company while he was away from home. We are glad to hear he will be home soon with you and your blankie that you've been keeping warm for him will go back on his lap.

Mudpie, we know it was just Rosebud's color that attracted Mom Melissa to her. Our mom cheats on us with dogs quite often. It is annoying, but in the end our humans always come home to us.
