1. If I were a cat, I would hiss at everyone. In so many situations I have to force myself to be pleasant, whereas if I were a cat I could be my true self!
2. The Country Christmas Loft is a hidden gem in my part of the country. Just a few miles down the road from me, it's a 14 room Christmas shop wrapped around a replica New England village. (This is a photo I took the last time I was there.)

3. Dad's rehab facility went downhill after dogs were banned. Remember Rosebud from dad's original stay at rehab? When he went back last week there was a "No Dogs Allowed" sign on the front door. Apparently Rosebud growled at another dog when the elevator doors opened and she and her owner were escorted out the building. Her owner is filing a complaint over how condescending, unnecessary, and unprofessional the whole situation was, and I support her 100%! It was purely a discriminatory overreaction by staff because Rosebud is a pittie. So now no dogs are allowed in the building.
4. Cat shirts and jeans are the most worn item in my wardrobe.

I think that's really awful that the people in the rehab center can no longer enjoy the company of a dog coming to visit when they are so well behaved and gentle was that one was. It means so much to the people that cannot get out. I absolutely love the look of that Christmas store and wish there was one that close to here. I'd probably be in there a half dozen times a year just staring at it. And we love the fact that there's two tortoise shell kitties in the sunglasses this morning.

That is so messed up about your dad's rehab facility's no dogs policy. Such a stupid, knee-jerk action. :(
I think I'd like to visit that store.
All rehab facilities should allow therapy animals, although if an animal does growl at another, it might need to leave for the day as it is probably overstimulated and overwhelmed and should be allowed to go calm down.
That's really sad about the rehab centre.
