A Bittersweet Discovery

Mommy here.

Over the years I've taken a number of photos of Mudpie snuggling stuffies at the foot of my mom's bed. These are just a few:

Mom always thought it was the sweetest thing that Mudpie did this, and started calling the stuffies Mudpie's "girls".

Mom has been gone for 18 months now. I haven't changed anything in her bedroom, but most importantly I've left these stuffies at the foot of the bed so Mudpie could continue snuggling them anytime she wanted to.

The strange thing is, since Mom has been gone Mudpie completely stopped cuddling with that pile of stuffies...until this week. On Monday afternoon she disappeared and when I went looking for her I couldn't believe she was finally sleeping there again. It wasn't just a fluke either, because she's gone back in there daily for a nap.

I don't know what made her finally decide to snuggle up with her "girls" again, but it made me so happy, while also majorly tugging at my heartstrings. Mom would be so happy to see her curled up there again. It was certainly a bittersweet moment.

Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is:

Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute).

Dearest Melissa,
What a touching post.
Mudpie sure needed her time to grief for your Mom and she seems to be fine now.
Our kitties sense a lot more than humans in general think they do—it's their special 6th sense.
To you it certainly was bittersweet but it shows a true love and loyalty so pure!
Big hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

PS could not sleep so I got up and will go back to bed now...

This is a very sweet post. Mudpie knew it was time to return to her favourite place.

For you it was probably a little bit of joy and a little bit of sad to have mud pie go back in and get on the bed.

That is very sweet. I bet your mom's spirit visits her there too. Xo

Just as you have left your Mom's room as it was, maybe Mudpie felt it wasn't right yet to go in there without your Mom. Now she must sense that it is.

Awww, so really touching and sweet. Kitties sense and feel, very much like we do.

That is just so sweet. Grief works differently for everyone, and Mudpie has finally worked her way through it. Our Timber has had a hard time with his grieving over the loss of Lightning. It has been six months now and we are just starting to see little hints of improvement in some of his bizarre behavior.

Thanks for sharing this lovely story about Mudpie and your Mom

IF YOU A VICTIM OF SCAM, HERE IS A REASON WHY YOU SHOULDNT REPORT TO THE POLICE.

The police only attend to crimes that threatens national security, and if the scam doesn’t they wouldn’t give much effort to it.
The police are not well equipped to handle scam, as most scammers do well in protecting their identity.

HERE IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU WERE SCAMMED-: contact a private organization who specializes in hunting down scammers and recovering funds taking by the scammers, one of this organization is PYTHONAX. They are very good at this, they are professionals in their work and above all they don’t do anything illegal, every thing they do is lawful.

You're right, it is bittersweet but still I'm so glad she is doing this.
