National Horror Movie Day

Meows from Mudpie!

Did you know today is National Horror Movie Day? Mommy's all-time favorite movie (horror or otherwise) is Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, and waaaaaay back in 2015, less than 2 months after I moved to my forever home, we re-created the movie's famous shower scene for a Caturday Art project.

This still cracks Mommy up nearly 10 years later, and I can't get over what an itty bitty Mudpie I was back then!

Don't worry, there were no crazy people with knives in the tub with me, but do you notice that I appear to be freaked out by something I'm looking at? I think Mommy may have been getting ready to take a bath and nakey at the time. (Tee hee...)

What's your favorite horror movie?

  1. Dearest Melissa,
What a tiny Mudpie indeed and that face!
Only can remember that our angel Dido once was with his nose right there as we unpacked groceries. Before we knew it—he gets so scared as he was wearing a plastic bag around his arm. He ran and the wind in the bag made a noise that made him move like the devil was after him.
We laughed but had a hard time catching him!
    Kitty horror movie...
    Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties (I woke up and couldn't sleep...)

  2. Mudpie, you certainly were a cutie in the bathtub that day. But I'll be honest I saw that movie and I'm the kind of person that is extremely scared of things like that. Alfred Hitchcock was always over my head. How about the movie Birds. For a cat that should have been a winner.

  8. I can't believe I didn't know it was National Horror Movie Day. At least I have you to teach me important facts like this, Mudpie. And you made this Psycho scene even better! Purrs!
