Meows from Mudpie!
Last week I took my selfie inside a paper bag and planned to stay there until the election was over.
Is it safe to come out now?
(Incidentally, Mommy had the "nerve" to express her feelings about the election outcome on her own FB page and as of this writing has 14 fewer so-called "friends" including her aunt. Reason #34,546 she prefers cats to people.)
We're joining our friends at The Cat on My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!
Our human prefer cats and animals too! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou can come out now, sweet Mudpie. It's a brand new world...well..kind of😸😸We don't have Fb, but we think that politics must never be a reason to turn away from you, real furriends stay with you no matter what🙏Double Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday to the both of you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteWhy is it always okay for the other people to be able to express their feelings or their ideas. But when you yourself do it they seem to cut you off or cut you down. Maybe a few less friends just means you have to spend less time on facebook, lol. Mudpie you look simply great outside of the bag.

ReplyDeleteYou can come out now, Mudpie. Nice selfie.
Dearest Mudpie,
ReplyDeleteLove your kitty eyeliner—so very special and beautiful!
You sure can come out and never ought to be hiding from others.
You live YOUR life in freedom as it is meant to be.
It is too bad that I did not have any Giovanni Raspine 925 silver safety pins for sale. Back in 2016 I sold them ALL within a day time. First we were puzzled but then realized it was the snowflake sign...
Let them be snowflake and never mind if you unfriend you!
Mudpie makes up for that—anytime.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
It's safe! Mom does not understand people who will be mean to those with a different point of view.
ReplyDeleteSo far, we all still have the freedom to choose whom we friend on social media.
ReplyDeletemudpie ewe look way mor gorgeouz when yur knot in de paperz bag....we iz knot on that site... N wood knot bee....even if de good Lord hiz self asked uz ta bee.....noe thanx dood ~~~ ♥♥
ReplyDeleteIt's safe, Mudpie. Cats are always better!
ReplyDeleteWe're pretty sure you can come out now, Mudpie!
ReplyDeleteCome on out Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is your web site, Mudpie! You can come out whenever you feel like it.
ReplyDeleteFwiw, I just followed a blog that's mostly about pop music *because* the blogger posted some not-really-minority opinions. Some people want their Internet experience to be an echo chamber. Opinions might cost you some readers. I read all sides and trust that, even if you voted D, you had reasons.
You are so sweet, Mudpie and we are happy you came out of the bag.
ReplyDeleteA family member, a young one at that, was the victim of meanness from her "friends" because she did not want to get into a discussion about the election last week. So THEY presumed to know her viewpoint that she never expressed. And now she pays the price. Very sad world we live in.

Nice selfie. Those people clearly weren't true friends if they hold your opinion against you. XO
ReplyDeleteThe reason we sill have a few friends is we try not to share too many politcky things.
ReplyDeleteYes, come on out sweet Mudpie. Hey, I agree with Ellen.
ReplyDeleteLet's just say, a cat would make a better president, no matter who is running and who wins. This is a lovely selfie, Mudpie, and we are delighted you came out of your bag to join the hop. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
ReplyDeleteIt's safe, I think, but be careful. As for the friends, you and I might not agree on everything politically, but we can still be friends, respect each other and discuss things rationally to come to good solutions.
ReplyDeleteWe do 'pet blogging' or stuff with pets on FB, not for political reasons but for FUN! What kitty knows anything about politics anyways!! Come on out anytime, Mudpie!
