Meows from Mudpie!
Our December CatLadyBox arrived on Wednesday, and as soon as Mommy brought it in the door I started rubbing against it. Since I was so excited she opened it up right there. I immediately grabbed the toy that was sitting on top, and then hopped into the box before Mommy was able to empty out the rest of its contents.
The box was teetering on the edge of the stairs but I didn't care. Look at my face...don't I appear to be saying, "Back off!"
Just seconds after Mommy snapped this last picture from the kitchen, guess what happened? Yep...I fell down the stairs!!! Slid right down 'em, landing in the back hall.
I sat there for a minute, stunned, CatLadyBox goodies scattered all around me. Mommy came running to make sure I was alright, then started laughing! (I have to admit, it was kinda fun!)
I think I need to hide under the bed until the new year!
I am glad you were okay, but that was a silly thing to do, Mudpie. Was it a nippy toy that was getting you so excited? Flynn got very nipped in this week's memory.
ReplyDeleteMudpie that was certainly one way to empty the entire box is fast as you can. You and it tumbling head over tea kettle down the steps. Grab that new toy before you go under the bed.

Oh Mudpie, we're glad you weren't hurt (except maybe your pride). My mom's the opposite of yours- whenever dad hurts himself, usually by doing something stupid, mom laughs first, then asks if he's okay.
