Yesterday was Dress Up Your Pet Day and today is National Hat Day, but I haven't attempted to dress up a cat in years (in other words, since a trio of torties took over my life). Thankfully I have the purrfect photo to share from my last non-tortie, Angel Sashi.
Sashi was a classy and dignified older lady who was in my life during the height of the Red Hat Lady craze. That was the inspiration for this photo, which has become a favorite...it lives permanently on my upright piano where I memorialize beloved pets that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. (Notice the cats in hats on the blanket behind her, too!)
Mudpie gives dressing up a big four paws down. Maybe one day I'll slip a cowgirl hat on her head while she's sleeping...
Sashi a very beautiful cat and obviously a very good model. Precious is just like Mudpie, no hats no sweaters no sunglasses no dress up.

We are totally with Mudpie - no dressing up here please. But we do agree that Angel Sashi was really rocking that red hat.

Angel Sashe was quite the fashionista, i take it. No cat here wants to dress up, either, I never got them used to it as kittens.
