Cat Coffee Scoop: Ironically, just the night before our CatLadyBox arrived, I was looking online for coffee scoops. A cat-themed scoop never even crossed my mind! This is probably one of my favorite, most used item in any box.

Meow Coffee Mug: Big, bold, and adorable.

Kitty Keychain Pouch: Not sure how I'm going to use this yet, but the design is so fun - cats, coffee, and cupcakes are just a few of the things scattered about.

Eddie the Espurrresso Coffee Bean & Larry the Lemon Loaf Catnip Toys: These toys are just too cute for words. Confession time - I stole the coffee bean from Mudpie for my stuffie collection. Can anyone blame me??? It's a cat face espresso bean!!!

Thank you for joining us for this month's edition of the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop! The calendar may say it's spring but we're expecting a messy mix of snow and ice this weekend. BOO! On the other hand, Mommy says if the weather is bad she'll be staying home and we can watch Mufasa and Flow so that sounds pawsome!

My photo fails this month are pretty self-explanatory. We tried taking an ussie and it went totally off the rails...

Something's Missing...

On Monday afternoon Mommy and Grandpa went out to have their taxes done. They were gone for HOURS. 

When they came home this is where they found me, on top of the case that holds a bunch of their most important legal and financial documents. They told me their taxes were done and my help was no longer needed.

What I was actually doing is auditing our financial situation to make sure we can continue to afford my squeezie habit. (We can.)

But I have an important question for Mommy...if this case contains important legal documents, where are my adoption papers? Huh?

Requesting Purrs & Prayers for Mo

Meows from Mudpie!

Today we would like to request purrs and prayers for our feral boy Mo. We'll provide more details when we can, but he's not doing well at all and we fear we'll be saying goodbye soon. 

Mommy has been crying all week. She says she hasn't cried this much since losing Truffles. This is her first experience trying to take care of a truly feral cat, and her heart is breaking. 

Please pray that he's able to bounce back, but if he can't that he has a peaceful passing when it's his time, and that he knows how much he is loved.

1. I enjoy talking to Mudpie. She's a chatty tortie and we talk all day.

4. I've been complimented on my caretaking abilities (for my Dad) but criticized for my political views. Both by the exact same family members.

Thankful for Crafty Friends & Family #ThankfulThursday

Mommy always says she doesn't have a crafty or creative bone in her body, which makes her sad. She would love to be able to make catnip toys for kitties or cat-themed Christmas decorations, but thanks to lack of talent (and patience), it's just not happening. That makes her all the more thankful for the artsy people in her life! 

Last fall our sweet friend Marjorie at the Dash Kitten blog posted pictures of the super cool hand-painted fabric Dia de Muertos cats she made. Mommy absolutely fell in love with them and mentioned that she collects Dia de Muertos kitties as part of our Halloween decor. Would you believe a couple months later one of them arrived in our mailbox, all the way from New Zealand?!?! Mommy was beside herself with delight, and you can be sure it wasn't put away for next Halloween! It's been out on display ever since it arrived.

Then shortly before Christmas one of Mommy's aunts posted a picture on Facebook of some felt ornaments her crafting group was making to sell at next year's Christmas bazaars. One of them was a gingerbread cat. Mommy had already picked up several gingerbread cat themed items at TJ Maxx and HomeGoods and *needed* this little cutie to add to her collection. She messaged her aunt saying she wanted to buy it, but at a family funeral in January her aunt brought it along and gave it to her! 

And no, he wasn't put away with the Christmas decorations. Both of our new little friends have been left out for us to enjoy year round.

1. My March to-do list includes getting my taxes done and continued decluttering.

2. I used to like going on day trips, but not anymore. I'm becoming more of a homebody by the day.

3. Bones and Joffrey's are obscure coffee brands that I really enjoy. I've been picking up so many fun flavors at TJ Maxx and HomeGoods.

4. I'm most productive late in the evening. I think of all kinds of things I want to do the next day, then the next day comes and I no longer feel like doing them! Guess I should probably just get them done when the urge first strikes.

Feline Friday: Spring Cleaning Time!

This was a first for me! Last night I wanted to take an after dinner nap in my Kat Kabin. I walked up to the door, pulled out my winter blankie, then stepped over it and climbed in! Guess I was letting Mommy know it's time to wash the blankie and put it away until fall. She reminded me it's still early March, and even though we're experiencing a slight warm up, I'll probably want my warm blankie back before long.

(Notice the little ghostie peeking out? Mommy hung him there for Halloween many years ago and never took him down. Every now and then I bat him around. He kinda looks like he's pleading for help here.)

Thank you for joining us for this month's edition of the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop! I don't know about you, but I for one am ready to say goodbye to "meteorological winter". It's been a very cold winter here in our neck of the woods - not record breaking cold but much colder than our past few mild winters - and I can't wait for some window whiffies! 

 

My blooper photo this month was supposed to be dramatic with the bright sun behind me, but the effect just didn't work. You can't even see my beautiful face! 

The more we looked at it though, we did notice something we really liked. Look at how totally adorbs my little right foot is! My left leg and foot are all black, but my right side is 100% tortilicious!
